Facilities

Thanks to major investments in Sunrise’s seed treatment capabilities, you have nothing to worry about. Adding a brand new, state-of-the-art facility in 2014 tripled our seed treatment capacity – including 52 bulk seed bins with total capacity of 208,000 units of seed – to better help our customers stay on schedule during spring planting season. In fact, we’ve made substantial, ongoing commitments to build and maintain state-of-the-art facilities, including four agronomy locations plus an ammonia satellite; three strategically located grain terminals; and new, first-in-class fertilizer plants at Crestline and Norwalk.

New fertilizer plant cuts wait times.

If there’s one thing farmers can’t afford to waste, it’s time. That’s why we’ve designed our new fertilizer facilities at Crestline and Norwalk to move customers in and out as quickly as possible. With capacity for 40,000 and 30,000 tons, respectively, of dry fertilizer and fully automated load-out system, there is no waiting for your order.

They are responsive and efficient, and there is not a lot of waiting in the fields for fertilizer delivery or waiting at the grain facilities for unloading. I like being a part of a co-op and part owner in the company.”
